Knowledge Exchange Manager
Jana Riedel is Manager of Arts and Culture at Queen Mary University of London, where she also temporarily manages Network: QMUL’s Centre for the Creative and Cultural Economy. In her role as Arts and Culture Manager, Jana focuses on the implementation of the arts and cultural strategy and the delivery of arts and cultural engagement activities involving researchers, students, external practitioners, and creative and cultural industries organisations. She is particularly interested in enhancing the visibility and impact of arts and cultural activities at QMUL and to encourage cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary collaboration. In her role as Network’s Knowledge Exchange Manager, Jana oversees the delivery of the Centre’s activities and manages the budget. Jana holds an MA in Anglo-German Cultural Relations from QMUL and is currently a Collaborative Doctoral Student from QMUL’s Centre for Anglo-Germany Cultural Relations and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Her research is around Prince Albert, the Great Exhibition of 1851 and its Aftermath in the context of Anglo-German Cultural Relations.
