Hongjing Yan is a student researcher of MA in Creative Industries and Arts Organization at the Queen Mary University. She has 1-year experience in education consultancy in the University of California, Irvine. She is mainly interested in the music industry in the UK, such as, music education, music marketing, music charity and music festivals. Her current research topic is how a community music festival organize and make impact on the local; Additionally, she has worked on a research about education institutions can get involved effectively and creatively in the development of the creative and cultural economy. For example, how university research center is changing its role in the creative and cultural industries. As an international student researcher, she is looking forward to creative and effective international cooperations in the field of creative and culture economy.
